About Me
Kaitlyn DuBeau, from Mullica Hill, New Jersey, grew up dancing and singing. At age 5, she discovered a love of dancing, especially ballet. At age 8, she transferred to Swedesboro Performing Arts Academy (SPAA) and her true passion for dance thrived as she learned tap, jazz, lyrical and pointe (ballet). During the next 10 years at SPAA, she was able to develop and enhance her skills in dancing and singing. Vocally, Kaitlyn studied with various artists for over 13 years and was a vocalist with a local band.
It wasn’t until her junior year at Clearview Regional High School that Kaitlyn explored an interest in theatre. During her last two years of high school, she performed as ‘Purity’ in Anything Goes and ‘Clopin’ in Hunchback of Notre Dame. During that time, she quickly found a love for theater. Her passion for reading, poetry, dancing, and music fueled her desire to learn as much as possible about theater and she elected to pursue it at college.
Kaitlyn attended Nazareth University in Rochester, New York, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Musical Theatre and a Dance minor. During her time at Nazareth, she was cast as 'Ocean/Jane Understudy' in Ride The Cyclone, ‘Ensemble (Hannah U/S)’ in The Spitfire Grill, ‘Mary Understudy/Swing’ in Bald Soprano. While at Nazareth, Kaitlyn studied abroad in London for a semester and worked with many West End performers and Shakespeare actors. During her time there, she was able to perform in an abridged version of Taming of the Shrew as ‘Katherine’ on the historic Shakespeare Globe Stage. Continuing with the work she was able to accomplish in London, Kaitlyn played ‘Lady Capulet’ in Romeo and Juliet in Fall 2025.
For regional theatre, Kaitlyn was cast in a professional theatre production of Beautiful: The Carole King Musical where she played ‘Lucille/Ensemble’ and covered ‘Carole’ at Geva Theatre in Rochester, NY.
After college, Kaitlyn wants to continue to learn and enhance her skills as she pursues her passion for theatre and singing. She is tremendously excited to take this next step in her professional journey as she looks to pursue opportunities in New York City and London.The next exciting thing to look out for is Kaitlyn in the 'Ensemble' of Anastasia at Geva Theatre, where she performed there last year in Beautiful!
